The chain saw animation....Lady Being Sawed in Half....in the genre of Quentin Tarintino and South Park where they kill Kenny every episode and the magic trick with the same name, was made around the time i broke up with my ex.....she saw it and thought it was hysterical as was its intention...cartoons and puppets take the edge off violence and vulgarity.... and it is this transformation that makes them so compelling...from a more obscure portion of the psyche, the animations are part of what balances the good with the dark, the spice mixed in with the sugar which gives backbone and edge. Everybody has it whether they admit to it or not...the Smiley Face is about responsibility and was made pre 9/11, but becomes more politically relevant afterwards.....the Intercourse animation was inspired by a medical illustration by Leonardo da Vincini, erotic and humorous, made even more so by having it in action. Having the ability to create all types of stories gives license to explore ALL aspects of the human soul.
